BNP Leaders Exchange Views with Newly Appointed High Commissioner in Maldives

A meeting was held between the newly appointed High Commissioner of Bangladesh to the Maldives, Dr. Md. Nazmul Islam, and the leaders of the Maldives BNP. The exchange of views took place yesterday, Thursday (October 16), in the hall room of the High Commission.

During the meeting and discussion, the attendees addressed various issues, including the welfare of Bangladeshi expatriates, the development of bilateral relations, and the resolution of problems faced by migrant workers.

The High Commissioner urged expatriates to abide by the law and play an active role in enhancing the country's image. In turn, the BNP leaders praised the High Commission's positive role in serving expatriates and assured their continued cooperation for the welfare of the migrant community.

Those present at the meeting included: Md. Sohel Parvez, Labor Counselor of the Mission; Muhammad Habibur Rahman, Personal Officer of the High Commission; Md. Khalilur Rahman, President of Maldives BNP; Md. Zahirul Islam, General Secretary; Vice Presidents Md. Hossain Sumon, Md. Babul Hossain, Md. Shah Alam, Md. Altab Hossain, Md. Emran Hossain Talukdar, Mohammad Faruque Hossain, and Md. Moktar Hossain; Organizing Secretary Md.
