Finalization and prize distribution of district level summer sports competition at Joypurhat

The 50th National School, Madrasa and Technical Education Sports Association district level summer sports competition was held at Joypurhat and prize distribution.

5 teams participate in each game and are divided into 2 groups. The champion team from each group plays the final. In the said text, the boy football champion was Madrei High School of Kalai Upazila of the district and the runner-up was Akkelpur Government Technical School and College. Uchai Jereka SC High School of Panchbibi Upazila was the girls football champion and Bhanurkanda Lower Secondary School of Akkelpur Upazila was the runner-up. Other sports include handball, satar and chess.

Organized by the District Schools, Madrasas and Technical Education Sports Association, the prizes were distributed among the contestants at the Joypurhat Collectorate ground on Saturday afternoon under the chairmanship of District Education Officer (Ext: Da:) Shishir Kumar Upadhyay.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Ishtiaq Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General and Revenue) Mohiuddin Jahangir, Jaipurhat Ramdeo Bazla Government High School Headmaster Md. Imdadul Haq along with the headmasters of various schools, madrasas and technical educational institutes of the district were present at the prize distribution ceremony.
