In Maldives, the foundation anniversary of the volunteer team and Khaleda Zia's healing wish ceremony was held.

The 43rd foundation anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteers is on August 19. The organization was established on August 19, 1980 by Ziaur Rahman, the founder of BNP.

On the occasion of the founding anniversary, the Nationalist Volunteers took a two-day program.

  As a part of this, a cake-cutting ceremony of the foundation anniversary of the Bangladesh Nationalist Volunteers Party Maldivian branch was held in Maldives yesterday, and discussions, prayers and milad mahfil were held to pray for the health of the country's leader, Begum Khaleda Zia.

This event was held at a local restaurant at 10:30 pm on Saturday, August 19.

  The event was presided over by Md. Masum Munna, president candidate of Swachhasebak Dal Maldives branch.

Abdul Mannan and Md Noornavi Manik, general secretary candidate of Swachhasebak Dal Maldives branch, were present as special guests in the event.

The leaders of the volunteer party proposed in the discussion phase said that the movement for Sheikh Hasina's resignation will be more accelerated through this foundation anniversary. The leaders and activists will be in the field to demand the release of imprisoned leaders and activists including Khaleda Zia and elections under a blameless government. The call of the movement is actually volunteers who will join the movement from each position.

  Md Hasan, Yusuf Mahmud, Faisal Amin, Md Israfil, Md Nasir Sarkar, Nurul Amin, Md Imran, Md Didar, Md Sajal Sultan, Shafiqur Rahman and many other leaders and activists were present in the prayer ceremony.

Finally, party founder Ziaur Rahman and national leader Begum Khaleda wished good health and health to Zia and Tariq Rahman and Zia family along with conducted special prayer for the welfare of the entire country and nation. A vote of thanks was announced at the end of the program.
