5 people arrested including the sentenced accused in Pirganj

Police arrested 5 persons including motorcycle thief and convicted accused in Pirganj of Thakurgaon. On Sunday they were arrested in various places of the upazila. The arrested are Tamiz Uddin, son of Jasim Uddin of Kusharigaon village of Bhomradah Union, accused in the check dishonor case, Rezaul Karim Chokha, son of deceased Jaushad Ali of Bhavanipur village of Syedpur Union, Director of Jua Khela Dabu Board, Manjur Alam, son of Mohammed Musa Ali of Bhandgram area of Ranishankail Upazila, accused in motorcycle theft case and The defendants in regular cases are Gaffar and Afsar.

Officer-in-charge of Pirganj police station Abdul Latif Sheikh said that the police are working tirelessly to maintain the law and order situation in Pirganj. As a part of this, raids were conducted in different parts of the upazila and 5 persons including the Moicycle thief, convicted defendant and gambling director were arrested and sent to the District Magistrate through the court.
