Prayers and Milad mahfil held for Khaleda Zia's recovery in Maldives

On the occasion of the 78th birthday of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, a discussion and prayer meeting was organized by the Bangladesh Nationalist Party BNP Maldives branch.
A discussion and prayer ceremony was held at the local Star Hotel in Male, the capital of the Maldives, at 10:00 pm yesterday.

Chairman of Maldives BNP, businessman Md. Khalilur Rahman, was present as a special guest, senior vice-president Mohammad Neher Mia Rana, vice-president Md. Babul Hossain, Md. Altaf Hossain, Md. Shahalam Md. Farooq Hossain, Md. Alamgir Majumdar, Md Farooq, also attended the event, senior joint general secretary of the organization Mohammad Shariful Islam, joint general secretary Md. Manik Hossain, Md. Shafiqur Rahman, Md. Halim Mia, Publicity Secretary Khalilur Rahman Shahji, Joint Publicity Secretary Md. Karim Rana, Shariful Islam, Mamun Mia, Md. Sufi, Assistant Religious Affairs Editor Abdul Kalam Molla, Maldivian Youth Leader, businessman. Ariful Islam, and businessman Md. Mizanur Rahman, the proposed president of the Maldives volunteer team. Masum Munna, Abdul Alim, Mohammad Ali, Abdur Rahim, Md Piyas Hasan, Shaukat Hussain and numerous leaders of Maldives BNP and organizations were present.
In the discussion meeting, the speakers said, they called for the people of Bengal to return their right to vote by preparing the outline of the election through a non-partisan government.
Finally, National leader Begum Khaleda wished Zia's good health and special prayers were conducted for the welfare of the entire country and nation including Tariq Rahman and Zia's family, after which the program ended with refreshments for the invited guests.
