A man died tragically after falling into a deep well in Naogaon

A man named Abdus Sattar (55) died after falling into a deep well in Porsha upazila of Naogaon district.

The deceased Abdus Sattar is the son of deceased Kamir Uddin of Kanapahar area of Ghatnagar village of Porsha upazila.

Masood Rana, team leader of the fire service, confirmed the incident and said that on Monday, August 21, around 11:00 AM, Abdus Satta's foot fell while entering the well to purify the water of the well adjacent to Kacharipara Mosque in the same village.

Later they informed Fire Service and Civil Defense Porsha who came and rescued Sattar dead. However, they believe that he died as soon as he fell into the well.

Officer-in-charge of Porsha police station Zahurul Islam confirmed the truth of the incident and said that Sattar is believed to have died after falling into the well.
