Chunarughat Upazila Shekar Social Organization Biennial Election President Swapan General Secretary Jumon

 Bakul Khan Special Representative: 

The biennial election of Shekar Social Organization, a reputed organization consisting of 10 unions and one municipality of Habiganj Chunarghat Upazila and expatriates living in different countries of the world, was completed on 16 September 2022 through online google form.

Was in charge of conducting the election, Dr. Mahbub Rabbani is Chief Election Commissioner, Shamim Ahmed Talukder is Assistant Election Commissioner and Syed Zafar Sadek is Assistant Election Commissioner.

 Masum Billah and Mahfuz Ahmed (Department of CSE, American International University) assisted with polling and technical support.

AKM Nuruzzaman Tarafdar (Swapan), the founding president of the Shekhar Social Organization, was elected unopposed as the president and Ziaul Haque Jumon, a journalist living in Spain, was elected as the general secretary by voting for lifetime members.

According to the constitution of Shekar Social Organization, a 44-member central committee has been formed for the next fiscal year 2023-2024 (August 2022 to July 2024).
