Ambassador meeting held with Chief Justice of Maldives

Today, Monday, September 5, the Honorable High Commissioner Rear Admiral SM Abul Kalam Azad paid a courtesy call on the Honorable Chief Justice of the Maldives, Mr. Ahmed Mutasim Adnan. Meanwhile, the Hon'ble Chief Justice of Maldives greatly appreciated the development of Bangladesh. He mentioned that relations and cooperation between the two countries have increased in recent times. In addition, the visits and contact of common people have increased at the highest level of the country. On behalf of the High Commission, it is requested to finish the trial process of Bangladeshis detained and under trial in Maldives as soon as possible. Besides, a special request is made to provide necessary legal assistance to the person under trial.
