Islamic Foundation Holds Discussion in Bhanga to Resolve Social Issues
Bhanga, Faridpur:
A discussion meeting on "Establishing Communal Harmony, Preventing Terrorism, and Resolving Social Problems" was held in Bhanga, Faridpur.
The event took place on Monday, July 14, at noon in the hall room of the Bhanga Upazila Model Mosque and Islamic Cultural Centre.
Organized by the Islamic Foundation Bhanga Upazila, the meeting was chaired by Mohammad Yasin Molla, Deputy Director of Faridpur District, and moderated by Field Supervisor H. M. Ruhul Amin. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Mizanur Rahman was present as the chief guest.
Special guests included Bhanga Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Ashraf Hossain, District Field Officer Md. Russell, Master Trainer Mawlana Ruhul Amin Rahman, and Md. Ashraf, Senior Joint Member Secretary of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, Faridpur District.
Also present were M.C. Mawlana Forhad Hossain, G.C. Mawlana Ayub Ali, G.C. Mawlana Kibria Munshi from the Islamic Foundation Bhanga Upazila, along with Head Teacher Hafez Mawlana Md. Sakhawat Hossain, Mawlana Toukir Ahmed, Mufti Mokarram Hossain, Mawlana Ali Haider, Hafez Mawlana Abdus Salam, Mawlana Mahmudul Hasan Mustakin, local Islamic scholars (Alem-Olama), and journalists from print and electronic media.
During the event, speakers emphasized the importance of resolving various social problems and urged everyone to play a responsible role sincerely from their respective positions.
The chief guest, the Deputy Director of the Islamic Foundation, Faridpur District, specifically requested imams in his speech to discuss communal harmony, terrorism prevention, and social problem resolution every Friday during Jummah prayers. He also requested devotees to come to the mosque as soon as the Azan (call to prayer) is given.
He further urged parents to send their children to child and mass education centers/Maktabs for Quranic education after Fajr prayers and to ensure that students (children) are not outside after sunset.
