Debidwar Women's Wing Meeting: "A Faction is Spreading Slander Against BNP and Tarique Zia"

"The Awami Fascist Hasina government tried to annihilate the BNP, but the BNP has survived with its strength, capabilities, and ideals. In contrast, the Awami League has now fled with its party and power." These remarks were made by Barrister Rizviul Ahsan Munshi, former Joint Secretary of Cumilla North District BNP, as the chief guest at a worker's meeting of the Upazila Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal (Nationalist Women's Wing) held at the 'Shaheed Zia Auditorium' in Debidwar on Monday, July 13.

He stated, "We overthrew a fascist government in the 2024 student-people's uprising, and a new government came to power. We were hopeful that the new government would work to restore people's desired rights and democracy. Now, we see that it too is following the old path."

"A new party has been established with young people. They are speaking without restraint, doing things the Awami fascists dared not do. Yet, this new destructive force is openly and obscenely spreading slander against the BNP and Tarique Zia on social media. This destructive force is particularly active in Debidwar and Muradnagar. They are not only in Debidwar and Muradnagar but are rehabilitating the Awami League across the country. They are including Awami League members in their committees. What kind of omen is this?"

The meeting was presided over by Sufia Begum, President of Cumilla (North) District Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal and former Vice-Chairman of Debidwar Upazila Parishad, and moderated by Nargis Akhter, Joint General Secretary of the North District. Ruby Islam, Acting General Secretary of Cumilla (North) District Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, was present as the chief discussant. Special guests included Advocate Farida Yesmin Dolly, Advisor of Cumilla (North) District Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, along with Vice-Presidents Airin Sarkar and Hasina Bhuiyan. Among others who spoke at the event were Khaleda Akhter Shilpi, Co-General Secretary of Cumilla (North) District Jatiyatabadi Mohila Dal, Jashmin Akhter, Organizing Secretary, Kazi Tahmina Akhter, Co-Organizing Secretary, and Beauty Akhter, Liberation War Affairs Secretary.
