Khilafat Majlis Italy Branch Concludes Shura Session: Maulana Razi Elected President, Mufti Waliullah General Secretary

The Khilafat Majlis Italy branch held its Majlis-e-Shura session on Monday, July 21st, at 9 PM local time in Torpignattara, Rome. The Shura session, presided over by the branch president Moniruzzaman Jamaddar, was attended by Khilafat Majlis Central Naibe Ameer Professor Maulana Abdul Qadir Saleh as the chief guest, and Central Advisory Council Member and Europe Zone Assistant Director Alhaj Qari Abdul Mukit Azad as a special guest.

The program included Quran recitation, presentation and review of the previous year's report, and the restructuring of the branch for the 2025-2026 session.

Through direct votes of the Shura members, Maulana Humayun Rashid Razi was elected as the new session's president, and Mufti Maulana Waliullah Khan was elected as the general secretary. Other departmental responsibilities were assigned as follows: Vice Presidents Maulana Humayun Rashid Nuri, Maulana Abdus Salam, Kashif Bhuiyan, Hafiz Omar Faruk, Mozammel Hossain Molla. Assistant General Secretaries Hafiz Maulana Abdullah Al Faruq, Hafiz Maulana Nasir Uddin, Maulana Mubarak Hossain. Baitul Mal Secretary Maulana Sohag Muhammad. Organizing Secretary Hafiz Abdullah. Social Welfare Secretary Delwar Khan. Publicity Secretary Zahed Mollah. Dawah Secretary Hafiz Muhibur Rahman. Office Secretary Hossain Kamal Uddin.

The executive members elected were Mohammad Harun, Din Mohammad, Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Nazmul Haque, Bahar Uddin, Hafiz Mostak Ahmed, and Maulana Mahmudur Rahman.

At the closing ceremony, the chief guest and chief election commissioner, Central Naibe Ameer Professor Abdul Qadir Saleh, delivered a speech. Special guest Central Advisory Council Member and Europe Zone Assistant Director Qari Abdul Mukit Azad also spoke.

Further speeches were given by the outgoing president and Europe Zone Assistant Director Moniruzzaman Jamaddar, and the newly elected general secretary Mufti Waliullah Khan.

The event concluded with a special prayer and supplication for the peace, happiness, and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.
