The hanging body of a housewife was recovered in Naogaon

Sadar Model Police have recovered the hanging body of a housewife named Santwana Akhter (30) from Naogaon. The deceased was identified as Ratan Ali, wife of the deceased.

According to local sources, the deceased's husband Ratan Ali was working in the local fish yard. Ratan goes to the store after eating at night like every day. Then he came home this morning and found the body of Santwana wrapped in a veil with a fan in his room. After informing the police station, the police recovered Shantana's body hanging.

Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazrul Islam Jewel said the body was recovered from the spot and sent to Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy. The cause of death was not immediately known. An autopsy report will reveal the exact cause of death.

The OC further said that no one has lodged a complaint in this regard so far. Necessary action will be taken in case of complaint.
