Two sisters drowned while playing in Fatikchhari

Two cousins ​​named Jannatun Nisha (2) and Meem (3) drowned while playing in Fatikchhari.

The incident took place on Wednesday (March 9) at around 10:30 am in the farm area of ​​Ward No. 2 of Lelang UP.

The deceased were identified as Nisha (2), daughter of Mohammad Farooq and Meem (3) of the area. They are both cousins.

The victim's father Farooq said, 'Two people fell into a pond near the house and drowned while playing around 10 am. After seeing their mother, they were rescued and taken to the Upazila Health Complex, where doctors declared the two dead.

Fatikchhari Upazila Health Complex official said. Nabil Chowdhury said, 'Two children were brought to the hospital. I found both of them dead. '
