A workshop on tax increase on tobacco products has been held for the financial year 2022-23.

The workshop was held on Monday (March 6, 2022) morning at the CIRDAP auditorium.

Mr. Nasir Uddin Ahmed, Former Chairman, National Board of Revenue, Mr. Mostafizur Rahman, Former Chairman, BCIC and Lead Policy Adviser, CTFK-Bangladesh, Sabina spoke at the workshop chaired by Kazi Jebunnesa Begum, Additional Secretary (World Health), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health Services. The workshop was attended by representatives of various ministries / departments, international and anti-tobacco organizations.
