Death of Veteran Scholar Maulana Kazi Faizullah;

Muhtamim Maulana Kazi Faizullah, former director of Jamia Arabia Munafkhil Madrasa, a traditional religious educational institution in Fatikchhari and Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique (R) of Bhujpur, has passed away at the headquarters of Boys Girls Madrasa. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

He died at the Chittagong Metropolitan Hospital today (December 19) at 3 pm. He was 55 years old at the time of his death. He is survived by 1 wife, 1 son, 3 daughters, thousands of students and many admirers. Thousands of students are engaged in mosque, madrasa and religious services at home and abroad. His death casts a shadow of mourning over the area.

Funeral prayers are scheduled to be held at 10 am on Monday at Old Ramgarh Azizul Uloom Kazibari Madrasa.
