At a press conference, Zahirul Islam said, "On June 12, 2021 (Saturday) at around 2 o'clock, when the Azhar gangs came to take mangoes from the mango orchard created by my father Nazrul Islam, they attacked my father, and one of the arguments." At the stage, Azhar and others attacked me and my father with pepper spray in their eyes with sticks and sharp weapons. In this attack, I, my father, mother, sister, my wife and Zarina Begum were beaten and stabbed and severely injured. After taking the injured to Matiranga Upazila Health Complex, the on-duty doctor sent the injured to Chittagong Medical Hospital.

Abdur Rahim, an eyewitness to the previous incident who was present at the press conference, said that Nazrul Islam had bought 2.00 (two acres) of land from Sahabuddin and was in possession of the orchard. On October 26, 2016, Azahar and others launched a surprise attack. During this time when we obstructed the construction work, they disobeyed the obstruction and occupied the place with various threats and built houses. At present 1 case is pending regarding this land dispute. But the Azahar gangs forcibly occupied the land without heeding the court case. At that time we reported the matter to Guimaras police station but did not get any legal assistance.

Moreover, in 2016, Azahar Sheikh with his team and indigenous weapons cut down various species of trees from our purchased place. Opponents threaten in various ways if it is obstructed.
