Naogaon DC, cheating with SP identity, cheater arrested along with his wife

Police have arrested a fraudster in Naogaon, posing as a fake DC, superintendent of police, doctor and army. He was arrested Monday, August 2, from a residential hotel in the city.
The detainee was identified as Saddam Hussein, 32, son of Kawshar Ali of Atulia village under Jhikargachha police station in Jessore district.
Naogaon Superintendent of Police Abdul Mannan Mia said this at a press conference at the Superintendent of Police office on Tuesday (August 3).
At the press conference, the Superintendent of Police said that Saddam Hussein changed his lifestyle as a strategy to seduce various beautiful girls. In online marriage media, sometimes American citizens, Australian expatriates, DCs, police superintendents, doctors, army officers and big businessmen identify themselves as unmarried and advertise for marriage. Then he took pictures of them at the beginning of chatting with different beautiful girls.
Then he snatched a large amount of money by saying that he would take her abroad by trapping her in love.
Besides money, he also keeps bank checks from the girls. Besides, he keeps videos of physical relations with girls.
He also said that the son of an upazila female vice chairman of Naogaon district was suffering from depression due to his death. On this occasion, Saddam developed a good relationship with the vice chairman and convinced him that he had contacts with the upper echelons of government in various ways.
Then he took the nomination of the upazila chairman from him and took away three lakh rupees saying that he had received the shelter project. He stopped communicating with her after taking the money.
On Monday, the victim learned that Saddam and his wife were staying at a residential hotel in the city. He immediately informed the police and he was arrested along with his wife.
The police superintendent further said that his mobile phone was seized after the arrest and it was found that he was involved in illegal virtual currency or cryptocurrency traders.
Two cases have been filed against him at Naogaon Sadar Model Police Station.
The police superintendent also said that a ten-day remand will be sought by appearing in a wise court.
Additional Superintendent of Police AKM Al Mamun Chishti, Gaziur Rahman and other police officials were also present.
