Hygiene is neglected at Paharpur Primary School Vaccination Center in Badalgachhi

A large number of people from wards 1, 2 and 3 of Paharpur UP are gathering at Paharpur Government Primary School in the historic Paharpur Union of Badalgachhi Upazila of Naogaon District to get the first dose of vaccine on the first day of August 8. As a result, there is no health problem in the vaccination center.

Standing in front of the immunization center of the primary school building from Saturday (August 8) morning, people from different parts of the union are coming to get vaccinated. It was seen standing in a huddle without following the hygiene rules and waiting for the vaccine outside.

Many people who come for vaccination say that they are suffering so much for giving a vaccine by not accepting the serial.

At that time most people did not have a mask on their face. There is considerable indifference to respect for social distance. When asked why he was not using the mask, some said, "I forgot to leave it at home. I have trouble keeping the mask on my face because of the crowd. I have difficulty breathing."

Asked about this, Paharpur Union Parishad Chairman Mizanur Rahman Kishore said, "We are trying to use socially safe distance and mask among the people, but the people are not obeying."

Masud Rana, a member of Ward 2 of Paharpur UP, who is in charge, said, "People are not living. What is the social distance?" He left with such a whimsical answer.

Mentioning that many people have come back to vaccinate with vaccine card and NID card after registering online for vaccination, Chairman Mizanur Rahman Kishore said that those who have registered online will be vaccinated at Badalgachhi Upazila Health Complex.

And those who are going back to NID will be able to get vaccinated after 14th August subject to submission of ID card.
