Guimara Palli Sanchay Bank Distributes Oxygen Cylinders at Jalliapara Islamic Mission

Dedicating August 15, the Guimara Upazila Palli Sanchay Bank of Khagrachhari district has provided oxygen cylinders to the Jalliapara Islamic Mission at the initiative of the upazila administration to prevent self-harm of the people in the Corona-era situation.

Guimara Upazila Chairman Ushyepru Marma was present as the chief guest at the oxygen cylinder distribution ceremony at the Jaliapara Islamic Mission office on Thursday morning. Gulimara Branch Manager of Palli Sanchay Bank Shantanu Mahajan, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Alamgir Hossain, Jalliapara Range Officer Md. Anwar Hossain and other employees of Palli Sanchay Bank and Islamic Mission.

Brief statement on the occasion of providing oxygen cylinders Dr. Munmun Sultana, Head of Jalliapara Islamic Mission, thanked the concerned people including the Upazila administration and said that such receipt would motivate our work. He gave some information about the coronary activities of the Islamic Mission during the coronation period. In the financial year 19-20, the Jalliapara Islamic Mission has provided services to 34834 patients through Allopathic, Homoeopathic and Pathology and in the financial year 20-21 it has provided services to 85626 patients including 40692 people. Shantanu Mahajan, branch manager of Palli Sanchay Bank, said that like the rest of the country, oxygen cylinders have been provided in Guimara Upazila on the initiative of Palli Sanchay Bank. He sought the cooperation of all to take forward the activities of Palli Sanchay Bank. Guimara Upazila Chairman Ushyepru Marma, who was the chief guest at the occasion, said the Jalliapara Islamic Mission has set a precedent by providing healthcare to a large population including Ramgarh and Guimaras. Guimaras is the only institution in the new upazila that has provided medical services to 85,626 patients in the Corona tragedy. He demanded the hospitalization of the Islamic Mission to modernize the health care of a large number of people.
