A discussion meeting and prayer mahfil has been held in the memory of Allama Junaid Babungari Rah.

The meeting was held at 9 pm on Friday (August 28) at the Karimiya Madrasa in the district town.

 The meeting was presided over by Maulana Mufti Imam Uddin Kasemi, convener of Khagrachhari district branch of National Ulama-Mashayekh Aimma Parishad and conducted by Maulana Kausar Azizi as the chief guest. General Secretary of the Metropolitan Committee Maulana Sheikh Amjad Hossain.

Maulana Habibullah Jahangir, Khatib of Khagrachhari Collector Jame Mosque, Maulana Qari Osman Gani, President of Qawmi Madrasa and Ulema Unity Parishad of Khagrachhari, Maulana Abdul Maulana, District Mujahid Committee President Maulana participated in the discussion on various aspects of Allama Junaid Babungari Rah. Speakers at the commemoration meeting said that the strong leadership and contribution of Allama Junaid Babungari in the worst days of the country-Islam and the nation will be forever remembered in the pages of history.
