Islamic Party Cannot Play with People's Rights' – Maulana Mizanur Rahman

Md.Sakhawat Hossain, Faridpur District Correspondent:

"If an Islamic party comes to power, some people mistakenly believe it will become oppressive to them. This is a misconception. Islam has come to establish justice, Islam has come to establish society, and Islam has come to uproot injustice, oppression, and tyranny from this country. Considering the activities and ideals demonstrated by various parties over the past year, there is no alternative to an Islamic party. This is because no such ill reputation has been spread about Islamic parties that they have engaged in tender manipulation, extortion, or murdered people by crushing them with stones. The leaders of the Islamic party who are running in the upcoming election prioritize service and welfare for the people. They fear Allah. They can never snatch away people's rights, they cannot harass people using the police, and they do not know how to play with people's rights."

Maulana Mizanur Rahman Molla made these remarks as the chief guest at a large public rally organized by the Chandira Union branch of the Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish in Bhanga Upazila, Faridpur, demanding the establishment of Khilafat.

The public meeting was held on Saturday afternoon at the South Charcharndra Government Primary School grounds in the union's South Charcharndra village.

The event, presided over by the Union Committee President Maulana Imran Hossain and conducted by Bhanga Upazila Committee Vice President Hafez Mahbubul Haque, featured Maulana Mizanur Rahman Molla, Vice President of the party's District Committee and prospective Member of Parliament candidate for the Faridpur-4 constituency, as the chief guest.

The principal discussant was Mufti Abu Nasir Ayyubi, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish Faridpur District Branch.

Also speaking at the event were: Maulana Mizanur Rahman Faridi, Vice President of the District Committee; Maulana Hafizur Rahman, President of Bhanga Upazila Committee; Hafez Nur Mohammad Bachchu Molla, President of Poura (Municipal) Committee; Maulana Sadikur Rahman Siddiqui, President of Sadarpur Upazila Committee; Mufti Md. Zakaria, President of Charbhadrasan Upazila Committee; and Maulana Omar Faruque, President of Bhilafat Jubo Majlish Bhanga Upazila, among others.

Attendees included Hafez Qari Waliullah, General Secretary of the Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish Bhanga Upazila Branch; Hafez Maulana Mosharraf Hossain, Finance Secretary; leaders and activists of the Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish and its affiliated organizations, local dignitaries, general public, and journalists from various print and electronic media.

In his speech, the chief guest said, "When our former MP sahib came to this riverine area, the destiny of the people here saw some change. If the Islamic party comes to power, and if the MP from this constituency is backed by all Islamic parties, the fate of the people of this country will maintain its current and previous state, Insha'Allah."

He continued, "I have been roaming various places in this region for over a year and extending invitations on behalf of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish. Today, I have come to the people of my region, and the response I received has filled my heart. I hope that in the coming days, the people of this region will become workers of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish and will move around all parts of the constituency, encompassing the three police stations, to awaken the dormant hearts of the people, ensuring the victory of the 'Rickshaw' symbol in the next national election, and they will work accordingly."

He expressed hope, "I expect that all the people of my Bhanga, Sadarpur, and Charbhadrasan will receive a hundredfold more love and fulfillment of their needs than what they received from those they repeatedly elected over the past seventeen years, Insha'Allah, if the Islamic party comes to power. Some ordinary people mistakenly believe that if the Islamic party comes to power, it will be burdensome for them.

He further appealed, "I passionately call upon all the people of this constituency and all the residents of my area, so that I may be elected by your votes in the next election, go to the Parliament on behalf of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish, work for you, gift you a beautiful society, eradicate drugs and terrorism from this country, and present you with a beautiful model Faridpur-4."

The event concluded with a Dua and Munajat (prayer).

The Munajat was led by Mufti Mahmud Hasan Fayek, Vice President of the Bangladesh Khilafat Majlish Faridpur District Branch.
