Discussion Meeting Organized by Senior Leaders of Italy BNP on National Revolution and Solidarity Day

A discussion meeting was held in Italy to observe the November 7th National Revolution and Solidarity Day. The event, organized by former senior leaders of the Italy BNP, took place on Sunday, November 9, at 7 p.m. in a local hall room in Rome. Barkat Ullah Bulu and Md. Shahjahan, Vice Chairmen of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), along with Advisor Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, addressed the attending leaders and activists via teleconference.
The discussion highlighted the context of November 7, 1975, and emphasized Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman's commitment to building a self-respecting, multi-party democratic, and sovereign Bangladesh by ensuring voting rights.
The chief guest of the event was the former President of Italy BNP, Haji Lokit Ullah. The gathering was presided over by the former elected President of the organization, Shah Md. Taifur Rahman Chhoton, and conducted by the former elected General Secretary, Nasiruddin Khandker.
Speakers called for the formation of a well-organized Italy BNP committee by uniting all veteran and young soldiers of Zia (BNP activists). They also urged expatriates to work under the principle that "Expatriates' first vote should be for the Sheaf of Paddy" to build a developed Bangladesh.
The principal speaker at the event was BNP leader Jahangir Alam Jewel, with Md. Abul Kalam and Shamima Zaman Runu as special speakers.
Special guests from among the former senior leaders of Italy BNP included: Hasanuzzaman Kamrul, Abdur Rahman Robin, Mozammel Haque Dipu, Laila Shah, Humayun Kabir, Advocate Kamruzzaman, Nurul Absar, Sharif Paik, Delwar Hossain, Mia Siddique, and Md. Ibrahim.
Other speakers included Jashim Uddin Belal, Rafiqul Islam Babu, Jahangir Alam, Haji Selim Bhuiyan, Mojibor Sikder, Imam Hasan Likhon, Kaun Amin Ullah, Aziz Munshi, Anis Sikder, Nazrul Islam Shipon, Nijam Uddin Shimul, and other leaders and activists from BNP and its affiliated organizations.
The expatriates present at the discussion meeting participated in the online membership renewal activities.
