The participation of scholars in traffic services across the country has been widely appreciated

 Md. Sakhawat Hussain:

Madrasa student teachers are also seen playing the role of traffic in order to maintain order on the roads and defuse the traffic jams in the situation arising all over the country. Along with the students, the Madrasah teachers (Alemsamaj) have been praised at all levels for playing such a role. On Saturday afternoon, school and college students as well as madrasa teachers and students were seen performing traffic duties at important places in the city including Dainik Bangla Mor, Fakirapool, North Gate of Baitul Mukarram Mosque, Bangabhavan Road, Abdullahpur in Uttara. (Furthermore, it is known through a reliable source that in almost every district of the country, besides the school-college students-crowd, teachers-students of madrasas, imams of mosques also performed this duty of traffic.)

Mufti Zainul Abedin, Mufti Md. Nazmul Huda, Mufti. Munawar Hussain, Mufti Ahmad Kabir, Mufti Jasim Uddin Siddiqui, Hafez Maulana Anwar Hussain Sheikh, Maulana Md. Moniruzzaman, Maulana Md. Sohel Rana, Maulana Md. Enamul Haque Faridi, Maulana Md. Lutfur Rahman, Maulana Abdul Qayyum, Maulana Abul Bashar, Maulana Abdus Salam, Maulana Md. Kamal Hossain, Maulana Emdadul Haque, Maulana Sanaullah, Maulana Mahfuzur Rahman, Maulana Md. Sakhawat Hossain and others.

When asked about this matter from Mufti Zainul Abedin, who is in charge, he told this correspondent, "To maintain order on the road, students-people as well as madrasa students-teachers (alemaulamas) are performing this traffic police duty not only in Dhaka city but also in the whole country. We have instructed the motorcycle riders to use helmets. I am also aware of the traffic laws. During the transition of the country and the nation, the students-teachers of the madrasa have a history of serving the people from their sense of responsibility.

Mufti Munawar Hussain, another madrasah teacher, said, "During the corona epidemic, the humanitarian service activities of the scholars who risked their lives including medical treatment of corona patients, free ambulance service, body bathing and burial will be remembered in history.

Even in the present time, Madrasa students and teachers are distributing love by providing traffic services, cleaning roads and guarding police stations, police outposts and places of worship of different religions to maintain order on the highways, shoulder to shoulder with the student crowd and performing humanitarian duties in voluntary work. May Almighty Allah accept the service activities of all the students brothers and sisters including the students and teachers of the madrasa in the service of the country and the people, Amen."

While providing traffic services on the busy roads of the capital Dhaka, drivers, passengers and pedestrians are expressing their gratitude to the public service activities of the Alem Samaj.
