Human chain in Nowdanga Radiant High School in Pirganj demanding justice for various irregularities

In Thakurgaon's Pirganj, Nowdanga Radiant Bimukhi High School, ordinary people including donors, parents and founders of the school staged a protest march and human chain demanding justice for various irregularities, including the illegal appointment of office assistants and cleaners. After the procession in the school premises on Sunday afternoon, they held an hour-long human chain program in front of the school. Akim Uddin, founder of the school, Alauddin, local guardian Azhar Ali, Kurban Ali, Sahiruddin, Mannan Chowdhury, Kausar Ali, Abul Kalam Azad and many others spoke during the human chain.

The speakers said that before retiring, the headmaster of Naudanga Radiant Bimukhi High School, Abul Kalam Azad, illegally formed a managing committee without paying attention to the rules and regulations and colluded with the president of the managing committee in exchange of huge sums of money and secretly appointed office assistants and cleaners of the school. Also, when the headmaster Abul Kalam Azad retired, he did not hand over the responsibility to the acting headmaster. He withdrew the money from the school's reserve fund and emptied the account. The retired headmaster and president of the managing committee conspired to turn the school into an arena of corruption. They demanded that they be prosecuted for corruption and cancel the employment of illegally appointed employees.
