The family of late war martyr Shah Hashem Uddin Ahmed got possession of 21st century land in Pirganj of Thakurgaon after 27 years. On Saturday afternoon, Nazir Tafizul, Naib Nazir Faridul Islam, Jari Karak Haider Ali and Mahafuzar Rahman, local surveyor Mostakim came to Banshgara village as representatives of Pirganj Assistant Judge Court and handed over the possession of the land by drumming. Local dignitaries including UP Chairman Sanatan Chandra Roy, brave freedom fighter Ramzan Ali, legal assistant Anwarul Islam, social worker Afzal Hossain, Shara Gobind Burman were present at the time. Laila Begum, wife of martyred freedom fighter Shah Hashem Uddin Ahmed, said that 27 years ago, her husband filed a case in the court of 21st century land in the western part of Dag No. 354 in Khatian No. 224 adjacent to their house in Banshgara village. Hamidul Haque and his people were made defendants. After her husband's death, she and her 7 sons managed the case. The case reached the High Court. Finally, the High Court ruled in their favor. In view of this, they got the land through the assistant judge court.
