Housewife died after consuming rat-killing gas tablets in Pirganj

A housewife named Dulali Akter (35) died after consuming rat-killing gas tablets in Pirganj of Thakurgaon. He died on the way to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital on Friday night. Wife of Akimul Islam of T&T area of Dulali Paur city.

Dulali's father Dulal Mohammad said that his daughter was suffering from dental problems for a long time. On Friday evening, Dulali's husband Aki

mul went outside the house to fetch medicine for toothache. At that time, Dulali couldn't bear the toothache and ate the rat-killing gas tablet at home. Later he was rescued and taken to Pirganj Hospital. After primary treatment, Dulali died on the way to Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.

Abdul Latif Sheikh, OC of Pirganj police station, said that a case of wrongful death has been filed in the police station in connection with the death of a housewife after consuming rat-killing gas tablets. The body has been sent to the morgue for post-mortem.
