Naogaon housewife complains, husband absconding

Husband Sujan Chandra Mondal has been accused of strangling a housewife named Mishti Rani Mondal (21) in Mahadevpur of Naogaon district.
On June 10, Saturday morning, the body was recovered and sent to the district morgue for autopsy. Earlier, this incident took place in Byrapara village of Hamidpur on Friday afternoon.
Mishti is the wife of Sujan Chandra Mandal of Hamidpur village in Safapur union and Amiya Chandra Mandal of Itali village in Enayetpur union. Officer-in-charge (OC) of Mahadevpur police station Md Mozaffar Hossain confirmed the truth of the incident.
Mishti's relatives said that the son-in-law went to the house after hearing that their daughter had committed suicide and found her lying on a bed. He was still alive. Look up when they call him by name. On both hands of the corpse, there were several places of acid marks near the wrists. There are also marks of injury on the neck. It is believed that an attempt was made to strangle him. He was quickly taken to the hospital by the police car, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
The OC said that after receiving the news, the body was recovered and brought. The body was sent to the district morgue for postmortem on Saturday morning. The actual cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report. However, in this incident, his father filed a case of abetment of suicide in the police station. She could not be arrested as her husband was absconding after the case.
It is to be noted that Sujan Mondal, son of Surjit Chandra Mondal of Hamidpur Byrapara village and owner of Sweety Jewelers of Mahadevpur Sonarpatti got married to Mishti Rani about three years ago. They have a one-year-old child at home.
