"Youth Must Unite to Establish Equality, Human Dignity, and Social Justice," Says MP Candidate Saiful Islam Shahid at Subil Union Youth Rally

Md. Saiful Islam Shahid, the General Secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Cumilla North District, a former Vice Chairman of Debidwar Upazila, and the party's nominated MP candidate for Cumilla-4 (Debidwar), stated, "To overcome the crisis and build a prosperous, developed, and drug-free Debidwar, youth must remain united."

He further said, "Whenever the country and the nation face a disaster, the youth have written history by playing a leading role in defending the country. Jamaat expects that the youth will continue to work for the welfare of the country in the days to come." He made these remarks as the chief guest at a youth rally organized by the Youth Division of Subil Union Jamaat-e-Islami yesterday, Wednesday, August 20, at 5 p.m.

The rally was presided over by Maulana Tajul Islam, the Union Jamaat's Amir and candidate for Subil Union Parishad Chairman. Special guests included:

 * Professor Lokman Hakim Bhuiyan, District Jamaat's Assistant Secretary and Municipal Mayor candidate.

 * Professor Mohammad Shahidul Islam, District Jamaat's Executive Committee Member and Upazila Amir.

 * Ferdous Ahmed, Municipal Jamaat's Amir.

 * Ruhul Amin Khan, Upazila Secretary.

 * Qari Wali Ullah, Municipal Secretary.

 * Maulana Sharif-ul Islam Sarkar, Upazila Jamaat's Assistant Secretary.

 * Alhaj Faruk Ahmed Molla, a prominent businessman, social worker, General Secretary of the Wahedpur Social Welfare Council, and the newly elected President of Subil Union Ward 1 Youth Division.

The event was jointly moderated by Osman, President of the Subil Union Youth Division, and Dr. Harunur Rashid, Secretary of the Union Jamaat. During the rally, the names of the new presidents and secretaries for the Jamaat's youth division in various wards were announced.
