Hafez-e-Quran's Favorite Ustad Mahbubur Rahman Elected to Hifzul Quran's Central Committee

Hafez Qari Mahbubur Rahman, the founder of Markazun Nur Cadet Madrasa and a renowned teacher to thousands of Quranic Hafizes in the southern region of Bangladesh, has been appointed as a newly elected member of the central committee of Hifazul Quran Foundation Bangladesh. Many of his students have participated in and won international Hifzul Quran competitions, bringing honor to the country.

On Tuesday, August 19, at 7 p.m., at an event held at the central office of Hifazul Quran Foundation Bangladesh in Dhaka, the names of the newly elected committee members were announced. At the event, Hafez Qari Mahbubur Rahman, a beloved teacher of the Quranic Hafizes and a well-known figure in the southern region, was appointed as an executive member of the central committee.

The event was attended by prominent figures including Shaykh Hafez Qari Abdul Haque (Da. Ba.), Hafez Qari Nasir Uddin (Da. Ba.), Hafez Maulana Mizanur Rahman, the Imam of the National Mosque Baitul Mukarram, Shihab Uddin, Pir Saheb of Nanupur, and the Khatib of Sylhet's Dargah Mosque, along with numerous Islamic scholars (Alem-Ulama), teachers, students, and devout Muslims who love the Quran.

According to Hafez Qari Md. Belal Madani, the director of the Faridpur branch of Markazun Nur Cadet Madrasa, devout Muslims from Madaripur, greater Faridpur, and the entire southern region of the country are expressing their gratitude to Allah and celebrating this occasion. They are also extending their greetings and congratulations to the newly elected member on social media, including Facebook, and with flower garlands.

Shaykh Hafez Qari Mahbubur Rahman has dedicated himself to serving the Quran for a long time. The Markazun Nur Cadet Madrasa he founded has gained a reputation as an educational institution that combines Hifzul Quran studies with moral education and modern knowledge. Sources indicate that Markazun Nur Cadet Madrasa has multiple branches in Faridpur, Bhanga, and Shibchar, and is successfully providing education.

Locals stated that the election of this wise scholar, known as the "Crown of the Hafizes of the Southern Region," is undoubtedly a landmark step. They believe that through this new role, he will play an effective part in serving the Quran-loving community across the country.

The local Islamic scholarly community reacted by saying, "Under Qari Saheb's leadership, the Hifazul Quran Foundation Bangladesh will become even more dynamic. New initiatives for the welfare of the country's Hafizes will be implemented, and the light of the Quran will spread further in society."

In an interview with this correspondent, Shaykh Qari Mahbubur Rahman said, "First and foremost, I thank Almighty Allah and ask for everyone's prayers so that Allah grants me the ability to fulfill my responsibilities properly."
