The selection panel meeting of Greater Dhaka and Dhaka District Association was held in Torino, Italy

An introductory meeting of the election panel of Greater Dhaka and Dhaka District Association, an organization working to protect the interests of expatriates, was held in Torino, Italy. Expatriates living in Torino, Italy are in the election mood among expatriates around Greater Dhaka and Dhaka District Association elections. Candidates have submitted their nomination papers to participate in the by-elections. In the election of Greater Dhaka and Dhaka District Association, fifteen candidates were elected unopposed as there were no more than one candidate for the positions of central president and secretary, and five candidates of the same panel are campaigning for votes with other candidates, said President-elect Moktar Khan.

The panel familiarization meeting of the unopposed candidates of the Greater Dhaka Association was held on Monday at a local restaurant. Tarino community leaders Kamrul Hasan, Mo Milon, Sohrab Hossain, Lutfur Sarkar, Asab Ullah, Rashid Peda, Abdul Jalil, Niamat Khan, Emdadul Haque Anis, Cesar Ahmed, Raihan Ahmed addressed the event under the chairmanship of President Moktar Khan and General Secretary Chowdhury Arif. including leaders of various regional associations.

The speakers urged all the diaspora of greater Dhaka to unite and conduct the organization through beautiful activities with the diaspora of all districts living in Tarino.
