Cox's Bazar District Council of Nezam Islam Party completed ♦Maulana Abdul Khaleq Nizami Ameer♦Maulana Abdur Rahman Elected General Secretary

The Cox's Bazar District Council session of Bangladesh Nezam Islam Party, the traditional Islamic political party of the subcontinent, has been completed.

On Thursday (August 25) at 3 pm in the conference room of Hotel Mishuk, the organization's Cox's Bazar District Working Council was reconstituted with Maulana Abdul Khalek Nizami as Amir and Maulana Abdur Rahman Jihadi as General Secretary. Acting Secretary General Maulana Manjurul Quader Chowdhury announced the names of the newly elected leaders of the 2022-25 session on the instructions of Central Amir Allama Sarwar Kamal Aziz, the chief guest of the council session.

Others in charge of the committee are Naib Ameer Maulana A.H. Central Naib Amir and Cox's Bazar District Amir Maulana Hafez Chalmatullah presided over the council session as special guests, Central Senior Naib Amir Maulana Abdul Majed Athari, Naib Amir Abdur Rahman Chowdhury, Acting Secretary General of the party Maulana Manjurul Quader Chowdhury was the main speaker. The special speakers were Maulana Ilyach Khan, Joint Secretary General of the party, Maulana Abu Taher Khan, Organization Secretary, Chittagong Divisional Organization Secretary Maulana Inamul Haque Kutubi, Training Secretary and Mymensingh District Secretary Mufti Sharifur Rahman.

In the council session, the leaders demanded the immediate release of the party's joint secretary-general, former central president of Islami Chhatra Samaj, Maulana Azizul Haque Islamabadi and the imprisoned Majlum Ulamaikeram. The leaders expressed concern over the rise in the prices of daily necessities and demanded the government to take appropriate measures to bring the prices under the purchasing power of the public. At the same time, the leaders expressed their condolence over the recent disappearance and death of fishermen in the turbulent Bay of Bengal and strongly demanded the government to provide adequate compensation to the families of the deceased fishermen and speedy return of the rescued fishermen from India.
