A constable in jail for embezzling money in Paharpur of Badalgachi in the name of providing police jobs.

An ASI of the police has been sent to jail on the charge of accepting a bribe of 6 lakh rupees in the name of giving a job as a police constable in Badalgachi of Naogaon district.

According to the source of the case, on March 22, 2019, ASI Anwar Hossain, son of deceased Nurul Hossain of Mahmudpur village of Badalgachi upazila, took Tk. If he wants to return, he makes excuses.

Ruma Begum, Taufiq's mother, filed a case on June 17, 2021 in Naogaon No. 5 Administrative Court as a plaintiff in this matter. Case No. 122/21 (Badal) The learned Court assigned the responsibility of Badalgachi Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) to investigate the case.

 Upazila Nirbahi Officer Alpana Yasmin, under the responsibility of Assistant Land Commissioner, submitted a report to the learned court on March 28, 22, about the on-site investigation and the written statements of the witnesses.

 The learned court yesterday on August 07, 2022 Senior Judicial Magistrate Bikash Kumar Basak ordered to send the accused ASI Anwar Hossain to jail.
