A case has been registered against an army member for forcibly raping another man's wife in Badalgachhi

Alam Hossain, 40, son of Ain Uddin of Chakadhaipur village in Badalgachhi upazila of Naogaon district has been charged with raping the wife of Shri Ashit Kumar of the same village.

According to sources, Alam, a member of the army, forcibly raped Ashit's wife in Chakadhaipur village at 12:30 pm on Thursday, May 26. While fleeing after the rape, the villagers grabbed her by the hand and tied her to a tree with a rope.

Matbar assisted in fleeing with a bank check of Tk 150,000 from the rapist saying that the rape case would be covered up and settled. Influential Matbar has been arrested along with bank checks after the case was registered. However, attempts are being made to arrest the army member.
