A housewife named Ruma Akhter Rani (25) committed suicide by wrapping a scarf around her neck in Badalgachhi of Naogaon district. The incident took place in Dargapara area of ​​Badalgachhi upazila on Saturday (March 19) morning.

The deceased was identified as Ruma Akter Rani, wife of Rahmat Ali of Dargapara area in Badalgachhi upazila of Naogaon district.

It is learned that the deceased Ruma Akhter Rani was married to Rahmat Ali 10 years ago. The deceased Ruma Akhter Rani also has a 6 year old daughter.

Ahsan Habib, uncle of the deceased Ruma Akter, said that he could not say why Ruma was committing suicide. However, a few days ago, I heard that my husband had a quarrel with Rahmat about going to my father's house.
