Naogaon girl's body recovered in Dhaka; one arrested

Naogaon District Police Cyber ​​Crime Team has recovered the body of physically challenged village doctor Laili Khatun (31) from Betgari area of ​​Naogaon's Raninagar Upazila from Jirabo Paschimpara Baitun Jame Mosque area under Ashulia Police Station in Dhaka district.


Police are arresting Mahabub Alam alias Biscuit, 45, of Bhabanipur area of ​​the same upazila, the main accused involved in the incident.

District Superintendent of Police Abdul Mannan Mia BPM confirmed the matter in a press release in the conference room of the district police office on Sunday afternoon, March 20.

 

At that time, the Superintendent of Police said that the victim Laili Khatun was physically handicapped. After overcoming various obstacles, he completed his paramedical studies and was engaged in the business of selling medical services and medicines to the local people as a village doctor in the local Betgari market.


Nasir Uddin, the elder brother of the victim, lodged a GD with the missing persons at Raninagar Police Station on February 20, 2022.


After preliminary interrogation, the main accused in the murder case confessed to killing Biscuit. According to the information provided by the accused, the police recovered the body of the missing Laili Khatun from under the ground in Jirabo area of ​​Ashulia Police Station in Dhaka.


At that time, the Superintendent of Police informed that the victim Laili Khatun was not getting married due to her physical disability. Seeing this, the accused got involved in a physical relationship with the biscuit victim. At one stage, the victim pressed the accused biscuit for marriage and after killing him, he suffocated and packed the body and buried it under the ground. A murder case has been registered at Raninagar police station in the incident.
