Juba Dal protests in Khagrachhari in protest of rising commodity prices

The Khagrachhari district branch of the nationalist Juba Dal has staged a protest against the unbridled rise in edible oil, rice and pulses.
The rally was held today (March 14) at 12 noon in front of the public works office of Khagrachhari district headquarters as part of the central program.
He spoke as the chief guest

Central Juba Dal senior vice-president Mortazul Karim (Badru) was present as the keynote speaker at the rally presided over by district Juba Dal president Mahbubul Alam Sabuj. District BNP general secretary was the special guest.

Speaking as the chief guest, Wadud Bhuiyan said,
The rise in commodity prices has taken a toll on people's lives. The prices of essential commodities including rice, pulses and edible oil have skyrocketed. The people of the country have risen up against their misdeeds. If the government fails to reduce the prices of daily necessities, mass movement will be formed.
