  Merchandising Brotherhood Association

The first public get-together of Merchantizing Brotherhood Association Bangladesh (MBABD), the most popular knowledge sharing platform in Bangladesh's RMG sector, was held last (February 21).

Working with merchandising professionals from all over Bangladesh, this organization has become the lifeblood of Merchant Dice Experts of Top Level Management including Textile Engineers, Industrialists and the Merchandising Brotherhood Association Bangladesh (MBABD).

 To further strengthen the organizational structure of the organization, the organization organized a day-long gathering of all current members, advisors and top officials of the sector at the Dhaka Resort Center at Kaliakair in Gazipur on Monday (February 21).

Mr. S. M. Forkan, CEO of Apparel Signature Ltd. presided over the function and Mr. Md. Faruk Hasan, Honorary President of BGMEA was invited as the Chief Guest.

 Also invited as special guests were BKMEA Executive President Mohammad Hatem and BGBA President Kazi Iftekhar Hossain.

Also present were Md. Salauddin Chowdhury, Director of DBC News and Chairman of Stylish Garments Ltd., Mr. Maksuda Chowdhury Misha, Managing Director of Stylish Garments Ltd., Md. Salauddin Chowdhury, Director of Riaz Garments Ltd. and Md. Salauddin, Head of Operations of Bunan, Desh Garments Ltd. Director Mr. Vidya Amrit Khan, Managing Director of Pianka Fashion Ltd. Waliullah, Head of Operations of Evitex Dress Shirt Ltd. Mr. Abu Yunus, Managing Director of SMB Tex Mr. A, HM Kamruzzaman Chowdhury and many more.

The Bangladesh Garments Executive Association (BGEA) was also honored for its outstanding contribution to the RMG sector of Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Society for Apparel HR Professionals (Bisharp) also honored the Textile Tech Association for its role in the garment industry.

Mr. Md. Abdul Hai, DMM, Indochina International Ltd. was also present as the special speaker at the event.

The program started with a munajat visiting the graves in memory of all the language soldiers who were martyred in the language movement.

 "The purpose of this organization is to spread the experience and knowledge of the geniuses among the new generation," said S. M. Forkan. He also said that the organization is committed to establish a role model for Bangladesh in the world.

Mr. Md. Salauddin Chowdhury, Chairman, Stylish Garments Ltd. called upon all to work together in the interest of the country in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and said that Gay BGME is by its side in any initiative of the organization.

In this regard, Mr. Md. Salauddin, Director, Riaz Garments Ltd., while emphasizing on the need for a truly experienced education structure for the new generation from 'University to Industry', offered to organize various seminars and training sessions for all members of the organization. He hopes that the new generation and all those working in this sector will find the organization as an open source of knowledge.

Regarding the activities of the organization, MBABD Founder Nizam Uddin Dipu said, "We must all work together to become the top in the Bangladesh garments industry. There is no substitute for knowledge sharing. We are providing free training to merchant designers. We are giving them free orientation training. Many people in this sector find it difficult to get a job without reference so we are giving them job references. Can arrange their jobs. "

At the end of the main discussion of the program, the individuals who have contributed to the organization were awarded with crests.

Dipu further announced that 2 events will be organized by MBABD every year: Iftar party will be held once a year at a convenient time in Uttara of Dhaka every Friday in the month of Ramadan, Insha Allah.

Cricket, football, volleyball, chair seating volleyball games are organized for the refreshment of all the members. Prizes are distributed among the winners.

Finally, a raffle draw was arranged to test their luck so that 10 more valuable prizes including first prize laptop, second prize smart mobile phone, 3rd prize smart watch were kept.

Above all, the speakers hoped that the organization would turn the country's merchandisers into skilled human resources.
