Celebration of Ekushey February organized by Beanibazar Basir in Italy to highlight the true history of Ekushey

On the occasion of Great Language Day and International Mother Language Day, residents of Beanibazar organized a drawing competition and discussion meeting in Italy.

Freedom fighter Lutfar Rahman, Chief Adviser of All European Bangla Press Club was the chief guest under the direction of Jamil Jamil Uddin, Member Secretary of Beanibazar Social Welfare Association. Special guests were journalist Lavanya Chowdhury, eminent community personalities KM Lokman Hossain, Nazrul Islam Mukul, Madaripur District Association Italy President Wadud Mia Johnny, Greater Sylhet Youth Association President Arman Uddin Swapan, General Secretary Zaidul Haque Mukul, Bikrampur Munshiganj Association Organizing Secretary Jamil Ahmed. , Mahenas Tabbasum Shelley, Organizing Secretary of Mahila Samaj Kalyan Samiti and many others.

In a brief discussion in the hall of a local restaurant in Rome, the speakers said, "Ekushey should be practiced and nurtured equally. We have to work towards making the next generation proud to know and understand the true history of Ekushey.

Participants in the program are divided into A and B sections according to age. Megha Das, Supriya Chowdhury, Toya Kazi, Prakriti Barman, Pritilata Saha, Rupanti Ghosh, Arhan, Afyan, Janid, Rozhan, Dalia Poddar from A division participated. Meghadas came first, Supriya Chowdhury second and Dalia Poddar third.

On the other hand, Arpa Kazi, Roop Kotha Roy, Emdadul Haque Shahi, Dia Poddar, Deepa Poddar and Azan Chowdhury from B division. The first Arpa Kazi came second, Deepa Poddar and Emdadul Haque Shahi came third.

Special prizes are given to the contestants who are placed in the merit list from each category. Special prizes are also given to all the participating contestants. Poetry recitations and dances, songs are performed by the child artists of Sanchari Sangeetayan.
