Tragic death of three children including two children of the same family drowned in Panchhari

Three children, including two children from the same family, died after taking a bath in the "Chengi River" adjacent to the College Gate under Panchhari Upazila in Khagrachhari district.

 The incident took place today (January 26) at 1pm on Friday.

The children who died tragically are: Parbir Chakma (2), Parsa Chakma (12) and Jorjari Chakma, 12-year-old daughter of Supan Chakma of the same grammar.

 Locals rescued him from the Chengi river and took him to Panchhari Upazila Health Complex. The doctor on duty declared them dead. Panchhari police have reached the spot. It is learned that there will be no case or post mortem in that regard. The incident casts a shadow of mourning over the area. The bodies have been handed over to their families for burial.
