Death of Maulana Shahidullah's father; Funeral and burial completed

Maulana Yusuf, the father of Maulana Shahidullah, a member of the Fatikchhari Shura, has also passed away.

 Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun.

He died at his residence on Sunday (January 9) at 12:30 pm.

He was about 70 years old at the time of his death.

He is survived by 1 wife, 4 sons and 1 daughter. His death cast a shadow of mourning over the area. Crowds gather at his house to catch a glimpse of him.

Funeral prayers were held on the grounds of Emdadul Uloom Madrasa at 8:30 pm on Sunday. Amir of Hefazat-e-Islam Allama Muhibullah Babungari led the janaza.

 After the janaza, he was buried in the graveyard adjacent to the madrasa.
