 A reception has been given to the heroic freedom fighter police members in Faridpur.

 The reception was held at noon on Wednesday (December 15) in the hall room of Faridpur Police Line.

 The reception was organized by Faridpur District Police on the occasion of the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Golden Jubilee of Independence and Great Victory Day on 16th December.

 Faridpur police superintendent was the chief guest at the reception.  Alimuzzaman-BPM (Service) greeted the freedom fighters with flowers.

 After the discussion, crests and gift items were handed over to the heroic freedom fighters.

 Retired Superintendent of Police Nur Mohammad Mollah-BPM, Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Helal Uddin Bhuiyan, Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Crime) Jamal Pasha of Faridpur, Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters Circle) Sumon Ranjan Sarkar were present on the occasion.

 Also present at the time was the well-known successful heroic freedom fighter commander of Bhangar Algi Union, retired police heroic freedom fighter Md.  Anwar Hossain Mollah, the heroic freedom fighter retired police member. Md. Emarat Hossain, a heroic freedom fighter retired police member. Md. Rafiqul Islam and others.

 It may be mentioned that the reception was given to 103 brave freedom fighters of Faridpur district by the district police.
