BNP protests in Khagrachhari against rising prices of essential commodities

The district BNP and its affiliates have staged a protest rally against the unlimited price hike of daily necessities including diesel-kerosene, transport fare, rice, pulses, oil and salt.

 The protest procession and assembly was held in front of the Khagrachhari district BNP office on Friday, November 12 at 11 am.

Former chairman of the district BNP Mosharraf Hossain presided over the protest rally led by district Juba Dal general secretary Ibrahim Khalil.

District BNP joint secretary and former member of Parbatya Zila Parishad Animesh Chakma Rinku, district BNP organizing secretary former councilor Abdur Rob Raja, Juba Dal district secretary Md Ibrahim Khalil and others also spoke at the rally.

Speakers at the rally said,

People have lost their way due to rising commodity prices. Workers and low-income people are living in extreme conditions. There is wailing all around today. In this situation, the speakers strongly demanded the government to reduce the prices of commodities.
