Community Policing Day celebration in Rupganj Rupganj

On the occasion of Community Policing Day celebrations in Rupganj of Narayanganj district, a discussion meeting, cake cutting and procession was taken out on Saturday 30 October. Officer-in-charge of Rupganj Police Station AFM Sayed presided over the discussion meeting organized by Rupganj Thana Police and Community Policing Forum at Thana Bhaban on the theme of police policy, public service and harmony of Mujib Year. Tarabo Municipality Mayor Hasina Gazi, Narayanganj District Additional Superintendent of Police Abir Hossain, Rupganj Upazila Vice Chairman Ferdousi Alam Neela, Kanchan Municipality Mayor Alhaj Rafiqul Islam Rafiq, Rupganj Union Parishad Chairman Alhaj Md. Chalauddin Bhuiyan, Daudpur Union Parishad spoke on the occasion. President of Rupganj Upazila Press Club MA Momen, General Secretary Md. Maqbool Hossain, Publisher and Editor of Daily Sangbadcharcha Abdullah Khan Munna, Tarabo Municipality Councilor Anwar Hossain, Rupganj UP Member Alamgir Hossain and others.

Speakers at the meeting said that law and order of Rupganj police station should be improved and communal harmony should be maintained. In order to complete the Union Parishad elections in Rupganj on November 11, the law enforcement agencies have to be more active.

Later, the procession marched around the main road around the Rupganj police station building.
