Allocating 700 acres of forest land in Cox's Bazar in the name of construction of the training academy building will definitely bring about a major environmental catastrophe. It ignores the views of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Department of Forests, Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate and the Ministry of Forests. The Ministry of Public Administration has allocated for the training academy of government officials and employees of the protected environmental forest in Jhilangja Himchhari National Park.
