Two drug dealers arrested with cannabis in Badalgachhi, Naogaon

RAB-5 has arrested two drug dealers with 1 kg 900 grams of cannabis in Badalgachhi of Naogaon district.

According to Badalgachhi police sources, RAB-5 arrested two drug dealers with 1 kg 900 gm of cannabis under a bamboo bush on the west side of Saheb Bazar in Hajipur village of Mithapur union of Badalgachhi upazila at 4pm on Monday on the basis of secret information.

The arrested drug dealers are Sumun Hossain, 30, son of Abdul Razzak of Chokbeni village (Kolkata) in Mathurapur union of Badalgachhi upazila and Auto Babu, 35, son of Gazim Uddin of Jagatnagar village.

A drug case has been registered at Badalgachhi police station in this regard.

Badalgachhi Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Atiqul Islam said RAB-5 raided Jagatnagar village of Badalgachhi upazila in Joypurhat on Monday afternoon on the basis of secret information. At this time 1 kg 900 gm of cannabis was recovered from the accused.

Two accused have been sent to jail through the court on Tuesday afternoon, September 21.
