Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Islamic Writers Forum was held

A meeting of the executive committee of Bangladesh Islamic Writers Forum, a national organization of young Islamic writers, has been held.

The meeting was held at Maghrib Paltan on Saturday (August 26). The meeting decided on the fifth council of the organization. This council will be held at a convenient time after the situation in Corona becomes a little more normal. Colorful souvenirs will be published on this occasion as always.

It was informed in today's meeting that the work of language and spelling formulated by the Writers Forum has already been completed. Ongoing final audit. It will be published in book form on the occasion of the Forum Council. Besides, important discussions have been held on the progress of the organization with some amendments in the constitution of the forum.

At the end of the meeting, special prayers were offered for the souls of Allama Junaid Babungari, Amir of Hifazat-e-Islam, eminent Nazrul researcher poet Mohiuddin Akbar and other eminent scholars and writers who have just passed away.

The meeting was chaired by President Zahir Uddin Babar and was attended by General Secretary Munirul Islam, Vice President Raihan Muhammad Ibrahim, Joint General Secretary Ataur Rahman Khasru, Organizing Secretary Amin Iqbal, Co-Organizing Secretary Abul Kalam Anshari, Mohammad Tasneem, Training Secretary Shamsuddin. Literary Secretary Sayeed Usman, Law and Social Welfare Secretary Naqib Mahmud, International Secretary Saad Abdullah Mamun, Publication Secretary Reza Hasan, Publicity and Office Secretary Omar Farooq Majumder, Members Ziaul Ashraf, Mianur Rahman Jamil, Hasan Al Mahmud, Habibullah Siraj, Ubaidul Haq Khan , Tanjil Amir, Moinuddin Khan Tanvir etc.

By the way, the official journey of Bangladesh Islamic Writers Forum is on February 8, 2013. Every two years, the leadership of this organization of young Islamic writers is elected by the council. More than three hundred members of the forum chose the leadership of the major positions by secret ballot. The fourth council of the organization was held on 12 July 2019. The Fifth Council is being held a little late due to the Corona situation.
