Tragic death of a child drowning in Naogaon

A two-year-old boy named Mridul drowned in Raninagar in Naogaon district.

A tragic death took place at Kujail village in Kashimpur union of the upazila on Sunday afternoon, July 18.

The deceased was identified as Mridul, son of Abu Bakkar Siddique of Kujail village.

According to the family of the deceased child, Mridul was playing with his classmates next to the house. At that time, without anyone's knowledge, the child fell into the pond next to the house. Later, family members searched for Mridul. His body was found floating in the submerged water at one stage after many searches.

After seeing such a scene, everyone in his family seems to be speechless. There is mourning in the area.

Raninagar Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahin Akand said, "I have received the news of the death of a child Mridul who drowned. Now it is rainy season, there is water and water all around, so I request everyone who has a small child in their house to be kind to the child."
