The accused in the Nurjahan murder case discussed in Comilla Burichang has been arrested by the PBI

Hridoy (19), one of the accused in the murder case of Nurjahan (65), was arrested in Jagatpur area of Burichang after a long two years and nine months by the Comilla Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI). Investigating officer of the case SI Shahadat Hossain said that Hadai had confessed to the murder during the initial interrogation of the PBI and provided important information about the accused.
He further said that on the evening of November 1, 2016, Nurjahan Begum (65), wife of the deceased Abul Hashem of Jagatpur area of the upazila, was hacked to death by unknown accused. Later, one of them left Moinal Hossain in the paddy field and left. The next day the police recovered the body and a murder case was filed at the police station. The accused went into hiding after the incident. He was arrested last night from Shibpur village in Debidwar upazila of the district with the help of information technology. The accused has been sent to the wise court. The other accused involved will also be arrested soon.
