6 lakh Taka loss in a terrible fire in Fatikchhari

A terrible fire broke out in Nazirhat municipal area of ​​Fatikchhari upazila.

The fire broke out at Khas Mohammad Talukder's house in Ward 6 of the municipality around 6:30 pm on Sunday (July 4).

As a result, the fence of Solaimana Saudagar and 4 houses of the rented house made of tin were completely demolished. According to local sources, the amount of damage is 6 lakh Takas. It is thought that the fire may have started from an electrical short circuit or a gas stove.

Before the Fatikchhari Fire Service team reached the construction site, the locals rushed from all around and brought 80 percent of the fire under control. Local ward councilor Muhammad Ali confirmed the incident, saying the victims were very poor and helpless. In the fire they became absolutely helpless. Many have been damaged in the fire. One lakh taka of cash kept by a family for the purchase of land was also burnt in the fire.
