 The 72nd founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League has been celebrated in a colorful way in Guimara upazila of Khagrachhari district.

The 72nd founding anniversary of the Awami League was celebrated at the party office of the Upazila Awami League at 9 am on Wednesday with wreath-laying at the portrait of Bangabandhu, prayer mahfil and discussion meeting and cutting of cakes and planting of trees.

It was attended by Khagrachhari District Council Member and General Secretary of Guimara Upazila Awami League Memong Marma, Upazila Awami League Co-President Ayub Ali, Sameeran Pal, Rustam Ali, Upazila Awami League Organizing Secretary Rampruchai Chowdhury, Upazila Juba League President Biplob Shil, Juba League Organizing Secretary Ibrahim. Mir, Upazila Awami League leader Palash Chowdhury, Chhatra League president Anand Soum, among others.

Finally, Assistant Imam of Guimara Jame Mosque Maulana Yusuf Khan offered special prayers for the welfare of the country and the nation and for the longevity of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
